David, 64, of Oxfordshire, England, began collecting traffic cones in 1986. He now owns a traffic cone from more than two thirds of all the types of cone ever made.

David is often dubbed "cone man". He is in fact a sales director of a plastics factory which is the world's largest producer of the cones.
David has a special relationship with traffic cones. He finds their shapes, models and sizes interesting. Wherever he goes he collects traffic cones. Often bringing home discarded ones that he lovingly cleans up. He stores his cone collection in a lock up with no harmful UV light to break down the plastic cones.
Updated in 2020.David Morgan still claims the record for the world's largest collection of traffic cones as per the Guiness Book of Records 2017. In addition David is considered to have invented traffic cones in 1960.
